Somatic and therapeutic yoga workshops

Now enrolling — Daily Roots

What would your own daily practice look like?

Daily Roots is five Saturday afternoons, each one built around a single root of yoga. One root at a time, until you have a practice that is yours — your own common ground.

How a session runs

We open with about thirty minutes of teaching, journaling and conversation. The writing is what makes it yours — the idea stops being a concept and starts being about your own week. In a small group you also hear how it is landing for everyone else, which is often where the real insight shows up.

Then an hour of practice, where the idea moves from your head into your body and you feel it rather than agree with it.

We close with thirty minutes of journaling, meditation and time together as a group. That is the part that makes it portable: you leave with something written down and one small practice to take home.

The shape shifts a little each time to suit the theme.

What you receive

An introduction to Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga, and time with the first two — the yamas and niyamas — in a form you can carry into an ordinary week.

Practice in community: a small group working through the same questions at the same time.

Your own daily roots — a practice built from what fits your life, in your own words.

The full series includes a Daily Roots journal, and the Nourish session sends you home with nourishing oil.

Saturdays, 3:00–5:00 PM at Elevate Arts of Wellness, 1407 Massachusetts St, Lawrence. $55 a session or $245 for all five. Small group, limited to 10. Each session stands on its own, and the five build on each other.
